The Aim of this  book is about Saudi Arabia’s long-term vision for national transformation the vision’s delivery and the sustainability challenges the country faces as the Saudi state seeks to implement Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia  has been seeking paradigms and strategies for achieving an irreversible transformation of its economy  without compromising the country’s natural resources, culture and traditions.

The main objective of this book is Saudi Arabia’s sustainability challenges as it pursues  national development through strategic and active government. The overall theme of  sustainability will be examined through careful analysis of the dilemmas and paradoxes facing the country’s leaders.  

The book’s main focus is on the challenges of sustainable development in relation to  Economy, social  and the natural environment. The book uses case studies, quantitative data  analysis and interviews with key informants to provide fresh understanding and insights into  processes, capabilities and issues.
